Traffic to adult websites rose over 400% at this NYC airport in August during flight delays, cancellations – SILive.com

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Many airline passengers have found a way to help pass the time while waiting for a flight, or while stuck in an airport for hours after a delay or a cancellation.

Over the first six months of 2022, roughly 2.8% of all scheduled U.S. flights have been cancelled and an additional 20.2% of flights were delayed, according to flight-tracking website FlightAware.

The Associated Press reported that more than 21,000 flights were cancelled in June and 14,000 were cancelled in July. And in the beginning of August, severe thunderstorms along the East Coast caused 1,500 flight cancellations and 3,700 delays.

That left airline passengers with plenty of time to watch pornography.

You read that right – according to CamSoda, an adult website that tracked user’s location data, people waiting for flights in airports are watching porn to pass the time.

The “horniest” airport of them all? John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens.

CamSoda website traffic at JFK International Airport rose 489% in August 2022 compared to an average year.

Newark International Airport was on the top 10 list, landing at number nine – CamSoda website traffic rose 312% in August 2022 compared to an average year.

LaGuardia Airport, which didn’t make it in the top 10, also had an increase in traffic to the adult website with a 406% increase in August 2022.

Website traffic was also up in July 2022 by 19% compared to July 2019.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta; Los Angeles International Airport in California; McCarran International Airport in Nevada; O’Hare International Airport in Chicago; Miami International Airport in Florida; Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas, Denver International Airport in Denver; and Orlando International Airport in Florida rounded out the top 10.
