Little League® World Series Fan Zone to Provide Unique On-Site Experiences in 2022 – Little League – littleleague.org

With full fan attendance set to return for the 2022 Little League® Baseball and Softball World Series tournaments, Little League International is excited to announce the 2022 Little League World Series Fan Zone, along with an event app, which will provide unique experiences and opportunities to fans from all over the world both in Greenville, North Carolina, and Williamsport, Pennsylvania, this August.

“In addition to the great baseball and softball that is played on the field at our World Series events, one of the most exciting parts of our events is the incredible fan experience that is provided through our Fan Zone each summer,” said Kevin Feinberg, Little League Director of Partnership Marketing. “After not being able to have our full fan attendance in Greenville and Williamsport last year, we are thrilled to bring back this fan experience in a new way this year and make the 2022 Little League World Series an experience that will be remembered by fans for generations.”

Working through the new Little League World Series app, available on both apple and android devices, fans at both the Little League Baseball® World Series and Little League Softball® World Series will have the opportunity to engage with on-site activations at each location and track their engagement, earn virtual pins, as well as enter into a sweepstakes*. Provided below is more detailed information for each event, which can all be accessed through the same Little League World Series app (LittleLeague.org/FanZone):

Prior to arriving on site, visitors are encouraged to register by downloading the LLWS app and filling out a short questionnaire. Once logged in, visitors will use their Fan Pass QR Code (located in the app) to interact with partners in the Fan Zone on site with the opportunity to become eligible to win a $50 Little League Store Gift Card by collecting six virtual pins by the end of the tournament. Also, visitors will be able to use the Fan Scan feature in the LLWS App to interact with partners by scanning applicable QR codes throughout the Complex. In addition to adult visitors using the app to interact with partners at the Fan Zone on site, children (under 18 years old) will receive a wristband to participate in all the activities throughout the Fan Zone. Visitors will need to register by downloading the app and filling out a short questionnaire.
